I was invited to participate in the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) Space4Women Expert Meeting, discussing how to promote and advance gender equity in the space sector. Seventy women from around the globe attended – policymakers, engineers, researchers, CEOs – and even one astronaut. The panels were inspiring, but the best part of the conference was the working groups, where we worked on a gender mainstreaming toolkit that will be published by the UN.
Plus, I got to present my Ph.D. research at the poster session!
