It was a great pleasure to share the stage with astrobiologists Margaret Race (SETI Institute) and Michael Wong (Carnegie Science) to talk about alien life as part of the Open Question series at the Exploratorium. Hosted by Regina Barber (NPR), we discussed exoplanets, how we define extraterrestrial life, and how our imagination may prepare us for the potential discovery—and its impact on the world as we know it. It was a lively and thoughtful discussion, diving into science, philosophy, pop culture, and art.
The panel discussion was recorded and is now available on YouTube.
